It’s very hard to believe that there are only two months left in 2018. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I know many are opposed to making New Year’s Resolutions. It never bothers me to make them, even though I rarely keep them but I figure it’s at least a good time to reflect on life – the past and the future, and determine if there are things I want to change. I’ve come up with a few ideas. One thing I want to do is set goals. I already do my weekly menu plan and that really keeps me on track for what I’m cooking and the groceries I’m buying.
My plan is to make a list of the knitting I plan to get done each week. I think I will go back to posting my weekly menu plan and my knitting plans on Mondays and then on Sundays I can report how I’ve done with the weekly plans. Yes, that’s what I’ll do. I’ll see how it goes. If it doesn’t keep me accountable, I’m not going to continue it.
Does anyone have any interest in doing this along with me? If so, I’ll add a link box and you can link up with me. As long as at least several of you are linking, I’ll keep doing it. Yours does not have to include knitting plans. It could be gardening plans, quilting plans . . whatever you are interested in accomplishing for the week. What do you think?
So, here are my knitting plans for this week. This is kinda what I anticipate a Monday Knitting Plans post would look like.
- All Points South – Finish knitting this project.
- Block All Points South.
- Work on Nicole’s Hitofude. Try to get at least two repeats done.
- Make Kromski hat for Addie.

I love goals and unfortunately do not follow them like I should. Perhaps I can learn from others. At least writing them down helps as a gentle reminder.

Not sure how to link anything but my goal for now until Thanksgiving is to complete borders on 8 more quilts to get them ready to quilt on the Longarm over the winter and to finish Bonnie Hunter’s mystery quilt by Spring. The first clue is the day after Thanksgiving.

If I had a blog, I’d definitely join in. I think if I were to have a way to hold myself accountable to someone else, (the blogosphere, in this case!) I might actually work on all the things I fantasize about doing while I’m at work, but ignore once I get home!

i do better when I make a list at the beginning of every week. It helps me prioritize better and I get the must do this week things done. I’m going make it right now!

With a major move looming in just a few short months my goal is to complete Rug Hooking projects that are almost finished. I plan to hold my feet to fire and get them done. Thanks for the additional inspiration. I made my list days ago and before bedtime tonight I will have one complete. Hooray!!!

I may plan along. I do better of I am accountable even when it’s only accountable to me!

I would share with a link up. I already post to Motivational Monday on facebook and it really helps me remember what I need to be doing.

Sure, I’ll link. I already make a Monday Goals post anyway. =) However, don’t look for meal plans. My plan is usually, I’m hungry, what can I eat that involves no work? LOL
Karen says
I can’t link but I’ll add my goals to the comment section is that’s OK.

I don’t have a blog so I can’t link. I think if I could make my list public, I’d stick to it more. When you had the monthly quilt goal, I did month 1, 2 and 3, but then petered out. But I would not have done those 3 without the motivation.
