It’s funny . . I thought we were so busy today but now when I sit down to write about it, it doesn’t seem like so much . . maybe that’s what happens when you get old.
Yesterday flew by. We stayed home all day. Vince played with his printer til well after midnight so getting up this morning was a bit of an issue for both of us.
Vince spent the morning tilling up the garlic spot. It’s supposed to rain tonight . . my garlic should have been planted in early October and if it rains tonight, I probably won’t get it planted for another week . . or more.
I had knitting and then I came home, got Vince and we met friends for lunch. They’re from Louisiana and were passing through so we had a very good visit with them. From there, we went to vote, then we to the grocery store to get more apples. Yay . . they were still on sale.
That’s it but really, I left the house about 9:45 a.m. and didn’t get home til well after 5:30 p.m.
Tomorrow is going to be pretty much the same thing for me. I have a haircut, then meeting a friend for lunch and our lunches usually last about three hours or until the restaurant people run us out of the place.
I’m still trying to grasp that day after tomorrow is November 1. Time waits for no one!

Can you believe that some people leave the house Every Day?! Crazy, huh?! As a homebody, I really don’t know how they do it…

Sounds like a busy couple of days. I hope your second lunch is as great as the first one!

My mother always told me life flew by after turning 50. Once again she was so right. But I think it is picking up speed.
