Nicole doesn’t appear to be mad at me about the lipstick! 🙂 Hey . . I’m not the one who put on just a tiny little bit, hardly able to see it according to Addie, left the lipstick right on the counter and walked out the door.
I don’t know why I thought Addie was going to come home with the dress on but at some point, she changed back into the outfit she wore to the venue (jeans and a sweatshirt). I guess she was playing with the other kids and needed to be out of the dress, so I didn’t even get to see her in it. I hope there were some good pictures.
Nicole did say “How do I wash that dress?” and I said “Does it need to be washed?” and she said it had blue icing all down the front of it. It was really intended to be a one time thing so . . whatever happens with it is fine.
I had first made the pink dress as a test and tried that on her and made sure Nicole’s sister was good with it. My intention was that the pink dress would be a play dress. Addie wanted to wear them both to the wedding so, after the wedding, she changed into the pink one and wore it for the reception. Then for the dinner and dance part of this shindig, that’s when she put her jeans and sweatshirt back on. Funny girl!
The wedding is over . . now we have a week of calm before I leave. I will enjoy this week with them.

Kids are funny sometimes! Glad you didn’t get in trouble, LOL! Keep that picture for posterity!!! She’ll get a big kick out of it in about 15 years. 🙂

I hope many pictures were taken too, I was looking forward to seeing pictures of both Mom and Daughter as dressed for the wedding! Being really into a wedding right now myself. The quilt to be gifted is being bound, the basket for cards is nearly ready, my own apparel is ready. Decision for what to wear for bridal luncheon and rehearsal dinner are flitting around while I bind. As much as I anticipate arrival of the 3 youngest grandsons and our son and DDIL I am glad they are not staying at our home this time!

Not lipstick, but the youngest would find something to get in to!

I didn’t really expect that she would be upset with you, after all, Addie does some ornery things other times. Another silly memory to add to the childhood album! Now this will be a fun photo to show when she’s graduating from high school, college and at her wedding! She’s a fun little girl (probably a lot like her Granny when she was little!) and she’ll do lots of fun/silly/not-so-silly/worrysome things before she’s grown!

You are still going to be missed again this Tuesday! Will be so good to have you back! You have been missed!! I know Addie must have been really cute! Maybe they can take it to the cleaners and get the blue icing out. If not, maybe she can accidently get a pink, green and yellow stripe down it and she can be a unicorn! LOL

I’m still wondering if you made it to the quilt show! It sounds like the wedding was fun – spills and icing are the proof.
