Rita had been at our house for a couple of years when this photo was taken.

She was a scared girl . . definitely didn’t like having her picture taken. I wouldn’t even have recognized her as being the same dog if this picture hadn’t been on my Facebook post and if she wasn’t sitting in our chair with Speck’s old blanket.
Rita has come a long way. She loves everyone . . never meets a stranger and she’s a happy girl these days.

She definitely looks scared. I’m so happy you found each other. I love seeing the photos sleeping on her back with paws folded. One of my Dachshunds sleep like that also. It makes me smile to see him, and of course Rita, sleep like that.
