We think we’re busy at home but here .. things are hopping and by about 7:30 at night, I’m ready for bed. I’m definitely not used to so much activity.
Yesterday, as I mentioned, I was up by 6 and ready to leave here about 6:40. After breakfast at school with Addie, I went to Walmart and bought a few groceries for the next few meals. They don’t keep their pantry stocked like I do so it takes some planning ahead to get a meal together.
Got home and put the groceries away and decided to run to the local grocery and get a roasted chicken and potato salad for Nicole and me to have for lunch. While I was over there, I ran by the condo type houses that are for sale. I still have mixed feelings about those. Probably mixed enough that I’m not going to see them inside.
Then, the garage door, that’s been acting up, decided to stop working completely. I called the garage door people to come check it out. Hopefully they can come today because we can’t use it til it gets fixed.
Sat and would not let myself get up til Addie’s flower girl dress was finished. I’ll get the other one finished today.
Went to get Addie at school. Got home. OH, NO! She forgot her lunch box. Back to school. Got the lunch box.
Because all I have to get in the house is a garage door opener, which I can’t use, Addie and I had to stay outside til Nicole got home from work. It was only about 10 minutes so she wanted to swing on her spider swing.
Chad came home, he and Nicole went hunting so I cooked dinner, made more ice cream, got Addie showered and I was happy when it was time for her to go to bed because I read her a book and then I stayed in bed too!
Chad is off today. He and I are going to ride by a couple of houses. If I’m lucky, I’ll get a nap sometime today but I doubt that’s going to happen!

What did Chad and Nicole go hunting for? Curious…

I think it is deer season in MO. Probably archery only.

There’s a reason (probably many) we have children while young!

I know a couple that live in those condo’s that I think you are looking at. I’ve been there a couple of times and its very quiet, very nice view and they see deer in their backyards. I think they are very nice, at least theirs is. South side of town.

On my iphone, there is a day by day step-counter. When it reads 5-7000 steps, I am worn out for the next day. Can only nana-chase my 2-1/2 year old grandson, like NOT all day. I met him at his daycare class the other day and he ran to me and said “Nana, I missed you! Made my day, soggy rain notwithstanding.
