Addie and I had our sushi today.
Addie had her kid’s meal and we shared one tray of sushi.
I had my seared tuna salad. Love eating sushi at Ichiban in Joplin. We always say we’re going to try a different place but we always end up at Ichiban.
Addie and I went to Starbucks, then to T. J. Maxx where Addie got a toy and a shirt; then to JoAnn’s where I found yarn for Addie’s mittens and hat, then to Target where I got a few towels and some ziplock bags; then to eat . . then home.
Glad to be home and kinda looking forward to tomorrow when everyone will be gone and I’ll have a day to myself.

Sometimes the peace and privacy is just so delicious – especially after a busy day like this!

I love it when you visit Addie. I have a granddaughter of a similar age. I’m lucky – they live close – and I can relate to all the things you want to do, like be there when she comes home from school and bake cookies, etc. It’s the most wonderful time.

But you are making memories and that is good!

OMGosh! We love to see our daughter and big family BUT wow! after a very few hours we old people must go back to our hotel for some peace and quiet.

It isn’t good to be in the house with someone else for too long but as far as my feelings . I could stay with them forever. They’d boot me after a while but I try to make myself useful (cooking, cleaning, laundry, errands) so I don’t get in the way too quickly. This trip is three weeks because of several things going on and I know that’s pushing my luck but they know I’m trying to find a house here and hopefully this will be the last time I have to stay in their house.
