Yesterday morning when I woke up, I smelled yeast dough. Went into the kitchen thinking Chad was making bread but no . . he was making homemade donuts.
Some plain, some chocolate.
The donuts were great but it’s even better seeing Chad loving to do things like that and he and Nicole working together in the kitchen enjoying what they’re doing.
I feel very blessed to have this little family in my life. I couldn’t have asked for a better daughter-in-law. I can’t tell you how many times just in the three days I’ve been here, when Addie’s been giving them a hard time, I look at Chad and say “payback time!”.

Hahahaha!! What goes around, comes around, doesn’t it!!? I can remember doing the same thing when my son was raising his kids. In fact, they aren’t even all raised yet, so there could still be more of that in his future!! ??

Those look delicious! They always sound so lovely, and I love that you don’t interfere with their family structure, you just add to it.
