Nicole’s sister is getting married soon. Recently she and her husband-to-be attended a wedding. In fact, he was part of the wedding party and Nicole’s sister made some observations and plans as to how her wedding day is going to go.
She sent Nicole this text:
My first thought was . . no bride is calm enough to get her hair done, then take a nap, then get ready (as in I guess get dressed and put her makeup on) and then take another nap but really . . Nicole or her sister would be calm enough to do that.
This is why my trip here this long is so long . . so I can watch Addie while Nicole gets her hair done, then takes a nap; then gets ready, and takes another nap! Then . . the wedding happens!
Seriously, I doubt they’ll be taking naps on the wedding day but it was funny to read that she thought that was a good idea.

Oh I believe it. I spent the day with my matron-of-honor/best friend. She needed groceries, so we were at the store maybe 7h before the 8PM wedding. A friend of my parents saw me and asked what on earth I was doing? Couldn’t believe the story. Then we went to Burger King for lunch. We were honestly looking for ways to burn the hours before we needed to get to the church, do makeup/hair and dress. It was 1980 and I was 19…..that may make it all make sense.
