Fort hose of you who have never seen mushroom growing in logs, here’s a site with a bit of info. It all seems very interesting. I so hope Vince is able to have a good mushroom experience.

    The pictures are so interesting! I hope Vince has great success with this. Maybe Cullen? will buy his mushrooms for his stand!

    We eat a lot of mushrooms so I doubt we’d ever have enough to sell but we probably wouldn’t sell them anyway due to liability. Just not work the risk of selling anything to the public. I won’t even sell my eggs.

    That’s really neat. Maybe someday I’ll try my hand at this. We certainly have the weather for it down here. We wouldn’t need any misters.

    I noticed they have a recommendation for wood chips. Does Vince know that after the youth fair, you can take your truck and get all the compost/wood chips you want. You have to do the work yourself. All you have to do is contact them and let them know you want it. Have him take his shovel and truck and get some of that. Also good in gardens and flower beds!

  • Itatiaia Cocoon – Not much Done. Started September 15, 2020
  • Avalance – About 1/3 done. Started February 10, 2020
  • Match & Move – Over halfway done. Started October 10, 2020

New Projects:

  • Sugarcane Cardi – Using the purple Madelinetosh Work Sock.
  • Boulevardier – Using Baa Ram Ewe Winterburn DK.
  • Mariechen – Using Madelinetosh Longrider in Raspberry Cordial.
  • Magnolia – Using Madelinetosh Farm Twist Solid in Beautiful Liar.
  • Metropolis – Using Madelinetosh Chunky in Curiosity.
  • Superbloom Cowl – I made one of these as a Christmas gift but I’d like to make one for me. Miss Babs Yowza Mini Set, which I have.
  • Lizard Eyes – This look so interesting. Wollmeise – I already have it.
  • Rattlesnake – I need this to remind me that I survived living in the wilds of Texas for 9 years. Pretty sure I have yarn for this.
  • Lumber Jill Cowl – I have the yarn.
  • Heather Hoodie Vest – I’ll use Cascade Eco+ in Valentine.
  • The Weekender – Not sure about yarn for this one.
  • Homebody – I’ll probably use Kathmandu Aran 100 or Cascade Eco Wool.
