These socks are so fun! Wednesday night I thought . . I’ll just cast on and get the ribbing done. At 2 a.m., I was telling myself you HAVE to put the sock down and go to bed. Three stripes were done and I could have kept knitting all night. It’s such an easy pattern to commit to memory . . if you like short rows, and, I do. The hardest part of this pattern is getting the pattern. As I said earlier, you have to be a member of The Knitting Guild Association. A one year membership is $25. There’s a lot of good info there, as well as 20+ of their back issues (and current issues) as PDF files. The magazines have informational articles as well as knitting patterns. This sock pattern is in the Spring, 2015 issue. After downloading the issue, I was able to “save” the two or three pages for the pattern to a PDF on my computer and then import that into Knit Companion since I’m more comfortable using that than I am a paper pattern.
Anyway . . last night I turned the heel. It will look totally different once it’s blocked. You can see Suzanne’s socks here on Ravelry.
There’s a chance I could finish this sock today but I was jut told . . we’re going to town! 🙁

That sock is so pretty! I’m curious: do you hand wash your socks and then do they need blocked each time?
Judy Laquidara says
I do hand wash my socks. If it’s plain jane socks, I do not re-block them. They conform to my foot just fine when I put them on. If it’s something that has a really pretty pattern and I want the pattern to stay shaped correctly, I will reblock them. But, that generally means sticking a sock blocker (form) inside them and letting them dry with that in them.
