EDIT: Mystery Solved. They’re lacewing eggs. They have a much better picture.
Yesterday when I went to town I stopped to get gas.
We’ve had this car 11 years and I think this is the second time the gas light has been on. I stopped to get gas when I was in town yesterday and I realized that I’ve been back from MO almost 6 weeks and I haven’t put gas in the car since on my way home from MO. We really don’t use that car much.
While I was putting gas in the car, I looked down and . . what the heck??
This looks like straight pins with white heads stuck into the side of my car. I guess it’s some kind of spider egg but all of little “stems” are perfectly equal. They look commercially manufactured. The little stems are probably 1-1/2″ long and very strong. It was pretty amazing to see. I had driven all the way to town from home and they seemed fine. I’m guessing it’s some kind of spider eggs. Very weird to see!

I’m very curious about these…I tried looking up some insect eggs online, and didn’t find them. They don’t look like any spider eggs I found. Those are usually in a sac. Maybe a local extermination place could tell you.

I had these on my front door here in Florida, eye level a few months ago. Did not know what they were, thanks for solving that mystery!

It sounds like a blessing from what I read about green lacewings!
