Was it just a week ago that I first learned about Suzanne Bryan? Hard to believe . . I’ve thought about her non-stop since then. Not really that I’m thinking about her personally and not really non-stop but I seem to be consumed with all I’ve learned from her and excited about all I know I’m going to learn.
Today her video came out about measuring yourself. At breakfast, I told Vince “I’m so excited! Today we’re going to learn to measure ourselves for a perfect sweater.” He laughed and said “Measure yourself? I can show you how to do that!” No . . I saw her video this evening. I would never have even thought of measuring the way she taught us to measure ourselves. It’s all truly amazing!
But, when I first found her and began looking at her work, I came across her sock pattern, Undulance. The pattern is available through The Knitting Guild Association (TKGA) to get the pattern. Of course, I’m a member so I found the pattern, imported it into Knit Companion and plan to cast on tonight.
These are the yarns I have that would work for this pattern.
This is what I was going to use but then I realized I’d totally lose the black stripe but I think it will only matter at the top of the ribbing and at the toe. Maybe I’ll go dig some more but . . it’s dark now and I don’t want to go over to the shop. Maybe I’ll use the Prism (on the right with the three skeins). I don’t know what I’ll do . . but I do want to start tonight.

OMG I LOVE them. They are so me……they cream Cilla. But, sigh, I don’t knit nor crochet.

Beautiful yarn! I subscribed to Suzanne Bryan’s YouTube when you mentioned the KAL. I am a very beginner knitter, on and off for years. But I agree, her videos are something to behold! If I weren’t going through a nasty divorce (after 42 years!) I’d try the KAL.

I like every one of the yarns. I’m not going to be any help choosing just one. =)
