The Loopy Ewe has a point system that I think is very easy but I’ve never quite taken the time to figure it out. My yarn buying isn’t what it used to be so I’ve been letting my points accumulate. During Camp Loopy this summer, we got extra points, depending on how many yards we used. Crazy me . . I oped for the max (1,000 plus yards) each month so my points added up quickly. I knew I wanted bags. I had planned to get two of this one:
It’s a Bungalow 360 Satchel. I had planned to get two of these but the web page would only let me get one. There must be a limit of one of any item . . I didn’t read the rules. So, I ended up getting one of those and one of these.
Now that they’re here, I’m so glad I could only get one of the Bungalow Bags. It’s very nice but it’s very shallow. 7″ doesn’t seem so shallow til you start putting stuff in it. It has lots of pockets and it’s a very nice bag but I love the Llama bag. It’s deep and easy to stuff lots of things in there and it does have some little pockets in it.
I love cute knitting bags and I know I could make some but I just haven’t been able to talk myself into figuring bags out yet. A couple of readers have sent me very nice bags and they thrill me. Maybe some day I’ll learn to make my own.

I recommend Dog Under My Desk patterns. Erin’s instructions are fabulous. Very thorough. I started making bags when I got an embroidery sewing machine, thinking that I would combine the two. Didn’t happen. The Bigger on the Inside backpack would make a great knitting bag.

Your granddaughter would the first one.

I like both of these. But the Llama is really cute!

I was sure you were going to say you were giving the Bungalow Bag to Addie. I bet she’d love it! It looks like just the right size for a girl her age to carry things around with her – I bet George would fit! I like the llama bag, too.

Those are a bit too expensive to be a kid’s play bag but she would love it.

Such cute project bags. I have several bags friends have made, too. I’ve only ever made one, and that’s all I ever intend to make! LOL There are too many people who enjoy making them, and need the money for me to make my own.
