Last night I did get the heel turned on the Magnolia Socks.
I was tempted to make the foot plain and not continue the pattern but they’re so pretty, I decided to go ahead and continue with the design. My heart isn’t in finishing these socks. I want to finish the shawl and go dig in the stash for yarn for the sweater project but . . discipline, Judy! You can finish these socks. I doubt I can finish them today but hopefully by the end of the weekend they’ll be done.

How long does it take you to make a pair of socks?

Why don’t you save them for your knitting group? And nobody sees that part of your sock, anyway – if it’s too complicated for doing at your knitting group, I’d just make it plain. The top is pretty, though!

By any chance are you procrastinating on finishing these like I tend to do on so many things.

OH so pretty. I want to send you some yarn and get you to knit my socks…. I know the answer is no But I want to.

Oh but the satisfaction of another bag project being done. You have beeen doing great finishing things and making some beautiful things plus two cute dresses you have also made. A lot accomplished in a short time I would say.

These will be pretty socks to put in the drawer. Warm to wear this winter. I was looking at some pretty merino superwash tonight. One was 25% polyamide, whatever animal that comes from – LOL – and the other was 25% nylon. Do you have a preference? They nylon seemed a little softer.
