You can’t tell much about the shawl all bunched up on the needles but here it is so far.
I’m just getting into the light green and next comes a bit of white-ish and then pink. My goal tonight is to get to the pink. The pattern is Stargazing Shawl by Anna Victoria. The yarn is Wendy’s Wonders 100% superwash merino.
We’ve been busy today and here it is after 7 p.m. and I’m just starting to knit.
My kefir grains from yesterday never did anything. I started a new batch and if it doesn’t do anything, I give up on these dried grains. I got another load in the freeze dryer – skittles and yogurt (not mixed together but on separate trays). The dried yogurt is great for using in salad dressings!
There were half a dozen or so bottles of well aged kombucha in the fridge so we opened those to see if I could capture a scoby. I didn’t see anything that looked promising but you never know til you try.
I think that’s about all I’ve done today. Why am I just now starting to knit? Surely I did more today . . fed sardines to Cat, watered a few pot plants, gathered a few eggs, watered the chickens, washed a couple of loads of laundry . . nothing sounds like I accomplished much so I’m going to knit for at least four hours and get to that pink yarn!

I didn’t get as much done today as I expected, either…. but I had fun chatting with a friend, and that’s never a waste of a day, so I’m happy! Enjoy your knitting – I’m about to pick up my crochet.

Your shawl is looking lovely. As soon as I get a few things off my needles I’m going to try it and the beads. Guess I need to place an order or two.

This is turning out so pretty! I love this. I am afraid to do beads because I would have them all over the house and everyone would be tripping on them! LOL But I love all that you do. Wish I was as good as you are!
