With the holidays fast approaching, I love having little gifts I can hand out to random people. I came across this Scrubby pattern on Ravelry this evening. The pattern is free. It’s on Hobby Lobby’s website so I hope they have it in the stores.
The pattern says it takes 20 – 25 yards and there’s 125 yards on the skein so we should be able to get four or five from each skein. These would make perfect little gifts.
I’m going to have to see how much I remember about crocheting.

Our Hobby Lobby has yarn 30% off every few weeks. Yipee! Thanks for the scrubby pattern.

Years ago I used to make crochet scrubbies that were slightly different than these and sell them at craft fairs. I think I sold them for about $1.75 and I sold hundreds of them. I need to go look for the pattern but I think I used rug yarn. They were fun and fast to make. Have fun.

Ooooh this is a great pattern. I’ve not made these before but like you I like having bits for Christmas. I’ll be getting some and doing these when we get home from vacation. Thank you!

I knew someone who knitted square scrubbies and gave them out as gifts. The round version is prettier.

I love these! The ones with a hole in the middle are the best for me, since I hang them on my faucet handles to dry. Great idea!

I found the yarn at Michael’s and used my 40% off coupon since it wasn’t on sale.
Thanks Judy.
