Wrong Answer

Poor Vince. He always says the wrong thing.

We were watching a movie tonight and this married guy was thinking about picking up a prostitute.

Me: You would never do that, would you?
Vince: Heck, no! It’s too expensive.

What? Wouldn’t you not do it because you love me and you would never even think of doing such a thing? I just said “wrong answer!” and he said “You want me to say yes, I would hire a prostitute?”

 

On a funnier note, I’ve been asking Vince to find or make me some kind of gadget so I can stack the freeze dryer trays in the big freezer before they go into the freeze dryer. Someone posted in the freeze dryer group about buying the pizza saver things at Amazon and using those. Great idea! I ordered a package.

Me: Remember I asked you about buying or making me something so I could stack the trays in the freezer?
Vince: Yes but I haven’t done it yet.
Me: You don’t have to! Someone just posted that the little table looking things that come in pizzas will work.
Vince: Did you order them?
Me: Yes! Prime!
Vince: How many for how much $$?
Me:  100 for about $8.
Vince: We could have just ordered 100 pizzas!

Really, Vince? All in one day or over a period of months? Years? Who would think of that except Vince?

Actually probably four little table things per tray would do it so I only needed 32. A pizza a day and we’d have them all in one month. I think costwise and for the diet, I’m better off paying $7 for 100 of them.

Just another day in my life . . with this retired husband!  🙂
