This rarely happens. Last night I asked Vince if it was still supposed to storm during the night. I use a very loose interpretation of the word “storm”. Very light thunder way off in the distance is enough to send Rita over the edge and the whole house is up for two hours til she calms down. The Thundershirt helps. I have meds but I have to give them to her two hours before it thunders and I hate giving them to her because it “might” thunder so we’re usually just up sleepily saying “It’s ok, Rita”! But, according to Rita .. thunder is never ok!
Anyway, Vince said he hadn’t looked at the weather so I got online to check.
Look at that! We’re cooler than Nevada, MO and New York, NY. WHy is NY on my radar? Because Vince erased all my history and cookies when he was cleaning my computer and I haven’t checked weather anywhere but here and MO so NY is one of the default cities.
So, we’re 12° and 9° cooler than Nevada and NY, respectively.
You can bet that if I ever talk Vince into moving to MO, he will compare and contract the weather for me . . every minute of every day.

I have Brownwood on my phone, and I noticed today that you were way cooler than we were! We were 90 at about 1 pm, so I know it went higher – and humid! I’ll be wishing I lived there in December, too, probably!
