I’m always on the lookout for little trinkets and inexpensive happy gifts I can send Addie. When we were in Abilene last week and stopped by T. J. Maxx, I found this tin of bandaids for Addie.
I was looking at hand lotions and just happened to notice the bandaids, or . . as the tin says . . “magical wound healers”! Who couldn’t use magic when you have a wound?
When I sent the picture to Nicole, she said “Oh, Addie will be full of bo-bos when she sees those!”
I’m torn whether I should send them to her next week or keep them and take them to her when I go next so I can see her reaction. The only problem is that in another month, she may be on to the next obsession and unicorns may not thrill her like they do now. Or, I could just go back next week! 🙂

You could always send them now and have Nicole FaceTime you while Addie is opening her surprise . That way she gets them before her interest wanes and you ge to see her reaction. ?

We facetime almost every day . . some days multiple times. But that’s just not quite as good as being there i person. I’ll be back in about a month so I think I’m going to keep them and take them when I go.

Sam’s has Unicorn cereal. 🙂 If you can’t get it, I’ll send you some. There are 1000 boxes in Roswell. 🙂

Not sure if there any nearby stores in MO, but Target has Magical Unicorn ice cream!

She’s going to love those, whenever you give them to her. I had many little girls in class in 1st -5th grades who loved unicorns, and it isn’t something that ever seems to go away entirely. I looped 1-2-3 with one group of children, and those who loved unicorns in first grade still loved them in third, even if it wasn’t an obsession. You’re safe saving them a month, I think. =)

I want a box of them! They look a lot more fun than my plain old bandaids.

You still have time to go by Claire’s in the mall and see what they have left.
