This pattern . . Toscana Cardigan . . caught my eye and I knew Nicole would love it. She is cold when I’m just barely not sweating. Missouri winters are hard on a girl who’s always cold. She loves snuggly, oversized sweaters and sweatshirts. I showed it to her and she said “YES! I want that!”
We looked at the yarn recommended and ordered it from Love Knitting.
She was so excited when it arrived yesterday. She loves that it was packaged in pretty, dainty little bags.
She has to finish her Camp Loopy project before she can start her sweater . . though it’s looking more and more doubtful that her August project will be finished on time. She has so much going on with school starting and her sister’s wedding . . not to mention her mother-in-law having been at her house for two weeks! 🙂

Dreamsicle Creamsicle yarn!! Beautiful orangey colors!
Does Nicole own any thermal underwear to keep her warm all the time? Last winter that’s what I wore everyday and night, it was so cold. It comes in different weights, light to heavy.

I imagine she has loved having you there to help her get through this week. I know it was hard on her to see her baby going to school, but I think you helped her by being there!
