One of the flower girl dresses is almost done.

I still have to put the zipper in and hand sew the lining facing down, as well as hand sew some trim on the front. I’m not going to hem the dresses til I get back in October. I need to buy a thimble before I baste the zipper in and do the handwork.
The second dress is cut out and I may sew a bit on it this evening but it’s probably a better idea to wait til Addie is in school tomorrow.

It looks lovely. Good idea to wait until October for hemming. You never know when a growth spurt will hit!
