Chad and Nicole had gone to switch out SD cards in their trail cam so Chad handed me the cards to look at. I went back on the blog to get pictures from our trail cam to compare and whoaaaa . . the wild life at our place is way different from what they have here. This is what I found from our place.
Here’s what Chad had on his trail cam.
Surprisingly, both pictures were taken within a week of each other as far as the day of the month, but they were actually five years different. 2013 must have been a fairly (relative) wet summer for us because I expected to see everything in an August picture from Texas to be brown and dry whereas Missouri would be green and lush. Can’t complain about the green in Texas in 2013.
My friend who lives there commented yesterday that everything green after a few days of rain last week.
One thing for sure . . Missouri will have snow on the ground in a few months and my part of Texas probably will not. That’s one thing in Texas’ favor. Honestly, there are so many things in Texas that I would choose over Missouri except . . these three people! I know . . they could move but so could we. Maybe we’ll just buy an RV and live in that and then if they move . . no problem . . we’ll just go with them.
I crack myself up. Could you see US living in an RV with all the baggage we have. Two feral cats, a dog, 40 chickens, a freeze dryer, a longarm quilting machine . . maybe I’ll come up with a better plan. 🙂

Lots of things to consider, but RV? No, not even the biggest one, not even the one with a big empty space in back where you could PUT a longarm! That doesn’t mean you couldn’t have a home base, and then an RV where you traveled and parked close to Chad and family, but had a space of your own and didn’t get in their hair.

We had another 3/4″ of rain this evening (with a little hail thrown in). YAY! Not sure about your area but we’ve done well here the past couple of weeks. Might even have more later tonight.

I jokingly told my husband we could just move into a travel trailer and he responded that it would be a long, long trailer pulling behind us for all our treasures.

RVing is hard work and I know who would be doing all the work. Yes you would have to give up a lot of “stuff” to do it!
