Pretend you aren’t noticing that I’m buying patterns faster than I’m making anything.
Treis is a new pattern I saw on Miss Babs’ newsletter recently and forgot to go back and look at it but today I looked at it and loved it so I added that to my library.
Stephen West’s patterns aren’t usually my style but I’ve loved this one since I first saw it. I kept putting it off because of the brioche, which I really want to do but haven’t become proficient at it yet but I saw a finished Exploration Station online today and decided to go ahead and add this one to my library too.
I’m sure I have plenty of yarn at home that will work for both these files but I’m not even going to think about it til I get home.

The purple and yellow is very dramatic, isn’t it? I could definitely see you wearing that one, even in a less dramatic color pairing. I was in a quilt and yarn shop today which had bought out a supply from someone going out of business. I’m sure they paid pennies on the dollar, and they were selling skeins for $1. Sport weight acrylic, nothing fancy, but good for the baby afghans I’d like to croceht. Would you believe I couldn’t make up my mind and walked out with nothing? I have to go back when I’m thinking about yarn and not quilting.
