I think I’m going to manage to stay home all day til we go to the meeting at school tonight and then we’re going to eat Mexican after the meeting. There are things I can eat there but there are more things I like that I can’t eat. After driving here on Tuesday and then the trip to Joplin yesterday, I’m happy to be home.
This morning Addie wanted her hair braided. I have never braided hair. I begged . . let’s wait til mommy gets home for lunch. Nope. She got her unicorn with a long tail and mane. Mom had braided it so Addie unbraided the mane and tried to show me. I gave it the old school girl try but her hair is so fine and I needed a third hand so I convinced her to wait for mom to do the braiding.
Yesterday I made her a ponytail so she wanted two ponytails.

She told me they were perfect! They’re not but if she thinks so . . I’m happy.

Granny needs a braiding 101 class. Tell her you didn’t learn to braid hair, because Chad wouldn’t let you braid his! 🙂

Youtube!! My 15 year old son pulled up videos and did a french braid, fishtail and Dutch braid on his sister….with no prior experience. You can do it!

Go to you tube and watch videos on how to braid. Much easier to watch than someone tell you. Dgd( darling graddaughter) has grown so much these last couple months. How is flower girl dresses coming? Does she like to wear dresses still? Enjoy your time with her. They grow up so fast . My dgd is now junior in college in her way to be a doctor she says. A doctor on my gosh .

That was called pig tails when I was a kid! I couldn’t do anything with my hair …thick,curly, wavey. Of course I hated it! Love it now though! She’s so cute, no matter how her hair is styled.
