Chad brought crabs home from Louisiana and we boiled them last night.

There were two dozen crabs and they were so good. Very full and Chad did a great job of boiling them.

Of course, Addie could not clean her own and she wanted Granny to do it. I managed to eat plenty. There were enough crabs leftover that we picked the meat out and ended up with about 2 cups of meat. Can’t beat that.

That is a lot of crab. Are you going to make crab cakes with the leftovers?

They look delicious save the left over for me. Nothing I like better than someone else pick out the crab meat for me. My husband says they are too much work for the amount of meat you get. He also doesn’t like anything that crawls on it belly so he says.

Always enjoyed eating blue crab. Didn’t mind picking them to eat. We would sit at the picnic table picking crab and dtinking cold beer. Good wsy to spend an evening. What didn’t get eaten then. Good crab cakes later in the week!
