We ended up with a total of 1.5″ of rain as of Friday evening. We were supposed to get rain today and didn’t. Supposed to get rain tomorrow and Monday.

Someone had asked about our weather reporting system. It’s an Ambient WS-2902-A. We love it. We have apps on our phones and it reports to Weather Underground so anyone can check exactly what’s happening at our house.
Remember I told you that the dead grass would come back to life. This is what it looked like at 1 a.m. on Friday when it just started raining.

It’s hard to see in the picture but green sprigs are starting to appear. The 1.5″ was great. Hopefully we’ll get a bit more. Early this evening, it looked like it was going to really storm but it passed over. Here it is just past us.

I’m so glad you got that much. Moira said that Dallas was getting rain today, some places heavy rain. I hope this is a sign of a break in the drought.

yes, we’ve had over 3 inches in last 24 hours. But by your weather station, I guess this means Pear Valley/Brady probably has not gotten any.
