The Malabrigo Rios arrived today. This is the yarn I ordered when ESK had their refund for the sixth skein of Malabrigo that was ordered. I ended up getting four skeins free. Not bad at all!
The first one is the Matisse Blue. I got 7 skeins, which was all they had. That’s 1,470 yards. I would love to have gotten 9 skeins and ay try to get 2 more later but Malabrigo colors can vary greatly from dye lot to dye lot. This is such a gorgeous blue.
Next is Hollyhock. I got 9 skeins of that. It’s a gorgeous raspberry pink in real life.
Last is Yerba. I got 9 skeins of this one.
With 9 skeins, that gives me 1,890 yards of each so I’ll be able to do the projects I had in mind for sure. Those are some beautiful yarns.
Madelinetosh is having a sale. I’ve been thinking about it and looking at their yarn. I’ve put yarn in my cart and taken it out. Put more in and taken it out. There are several things I really want to make and keep doing this challenge and that challenge and ordering more yarn and I just want to make what I want to make. The first thing I’m going to work on after Camp Loopy is Morning Sky. This is the yarn I have to make it and I love it so much. The yarn is Eco Stitch 100% linen.
The yarn to make Eri arrived today from Germany. The yarn is Nature’s Luxury On Stage and the color is Mountains.
Yes, I love green. These are both bases I’ve never used and am anxious to try. So . . I didn’t buy yarn at the Madelinetosh sale. Good job, me!

They are all so pretty, but Yerba made me smile. Isn’t it funny how colors make us smile?

Ya know….I thought my sister-in-law was a bad influence on me when it came to knitting. She has really gotten me back into the knitting world and I have become a fiend to pick up and project and get it done. Now you show me that lovely pattern “Morning Sky”. I may be hooked. Thanks Judy.
