For my knitting buddies, there have been several knitting patterns added to Ravelry lately that make me want to knit faster. Here are a few I’ve added to my library:
- Weightless Produce Bag – It is free as of now. I could use a million of these and I think I can get the yarn at Walmart.
- Arabian Tales – I just love this designer’s work. I don’t have any of the yarn needed (long color change) to make this and have added Knit Picks Chroma to my cart. It may work but if it doesn’t, the entire pattern is screwed up. I think I’m going to order some Chroma and the Amitola that she uses and compare the length of color change and see how it works. Chroma is about half the price of Amitola.
- Birthday Bash – This just looks refreshing . . like it would be fun to knit and fun to wear.
- Slow Curves – Anything by Joji has to be a fun knit.
I haven’t done much knitting the past few days but what I am working on is the Casapinka mystery knit along. I’m a few rows into Clue #2. I’ll put that aside and start on the final Camp Loopy Project on August 1.

The Slow Curves pattern I recently bought because I want to make that after Camp Loopy is over. I had seen Arabian Tales too and love it but decided I can’t buy any more of her patterns until I actually finish one or two of them I already have. 🙂

The stitching design the yarn makes in Arabian Tales is really pretty. I hope you find the perfect yarn. Couldn’t the produce bags be made from left over yarns? (asked the totally ignorant-of-knitting reader)
