I feel like I’m eavesdropping or snooping where I shouldn’t be snooping but . . that’s kinda how I am! 🙂 I’m not a Texas Co-Op member but I suppose they don’t mind if we use their recipes.
A friend was telling me about a wonderful recipe she has for King Ranch Chicken so I asked if she would share it. She told me it came in the magazine they get from their electric co-op so I went to my friend, Google, and found the Texas Co-Op website. There are all kinds of recipes there. When you click on the main page, click on “Food”, then Recipes (the one between “Recipe Roundup” and “Taste of Texas”.
I’ve made the Burrito Squares and today I’m making the Blue Ribbon Pizza Casserole.
There are so many recipes I want to try.

I have a recipe book from Texas Power and Light and a few from Texas Electric. Those two were owned by the same corporation and there was also Dallas Power and Light. Those three were merged together to form TU Electric.. Not sure what they are calling themselves now, They took 3 great companies and made one big mess of one company!! Anyway I have some of those old recipes. I will bring them next week if you want to look at them. Some are very used!!

Always good to have another recipe source! I use them so often. LOL My next one is Lillian’s peach pie (Lillian’ Cupboard), though this weekend it was Blueberry Peach, and if there are blackberries or raspberries at Aldi’s this week, I’m going to be very tempted by that one!

Made your crack chicken tonight. It was voted “a keeper” by the whole family. We had it with oven baked potatoes. Thank you for the recipe.
