Clues 3 and 4 are now out but I didn’t start this tili after I’d finished my July Camp Loopy project. Just finished Clue #1 and am starting Clue #2.
I am looking ahead at the spoilers so I know what it’s going to look like.
And, there’s way more napping going on than there is knitting today. I’m still trying to figure out how I never went to the doctor once for being sick in 2017 and since Vince retired and I have this awful insurance, I feel like I should be camping out in the doctor’s parking lot.
My policy has a $40 co-pay for doctor visits. We thought that wasn’t too bad til I went the third time and discovered that I only get two doctor visits per calendar year. Great! I used both of those in June, the first month I had the policy. Now, I pay the whole thing out of pocket and it was over $300. You can bet I’ll be on my deathbed before I go back to the doctor in 2018.

How do they think hat folks “our ages” should only see a Dr. twice a year????? More like twice a month!!!!! Or once a month anyway!

Oh, my gosh, Judy! That’s terrible insurance! I hope when enrollment time comes around, you can find something better than that. Even Medicare does better than that. It pays *something* each time!

This is just ridiculous! I wish Congress had not changed the care we are able to receive last year! They have already started messing with Medicare! This is so wrong!! Was this pointed out when you bought the policy! Looks like as much as you are spending on the premiums they would pay more!!

My word, that’s terrible insurance! ! We regularly see our PCP every 3-4 months. If needed we go in between those, such as his getting shingles in May. We see specialists when /as needed. I don’t remember the last time we paid anything. Our premium is doable but not cheap !

I THINK you are also entitled to an annual physical and a gynocology visit every year without a co-pay. A work-around might be to schedule one of those appointments, when you’re not feeling well, so you can be treated at no cost. Just an idea.

My dr. has informed me that, according to Unitedhealthcare, when you go in for an annual “free” physical you are not allowed to mention any aches, pains or concerns, otherwise it becomes a regular dr. appt. that you pay for. No good saving up any health worries for the annual physical!!
