One of the reasons I’m so anxious to finish Jurata (Camp Loopy July project) is so I can start The Crown Wools Mystery Knit Along (MKAL). The first two clues are out and several have already shown photos in the spoiler discussion. Yes, I looked. Yes, I love it so far. In the pattern, there’s a drawing where we can test our colors.
I colored one with black for the spacer rows. I like it but I think it might make it look too choppy though there aren’t just rows of black. Where you see #12, the next “black row” would actually be a row of black, a row of the greenish blue, a row of black, a row of greenish blue and another row of black. I’m thinking that with the right yarn, the designer may have envisioned some fading and black is definitely not going to work for that.
Using some of the same colors of yarn for the spacer rows I think is going to work better.
These are the yarns I’m using.
There’s a chance I could finish Jurata tonight but there’s a better chance I won’t. I’ve made so many mistakes today . . interruptions and not paying attention.

Yes, the black is too defining. Looka there! I had a knitting opinion! LOL
