Twelve more repeats. When there were 25 repeats, I thought I’d never get done and I was so tempted to put this aside to work on something else. I totally love the project but this many repeats is so boring for me. I cannot tell you how many times I put this project down, told myself I’d rather work on a UFO or read a book but I have stuck with it almost to the finish. I only knitted three repeats yesterday but with twelve left, I’m counting on knitting three repeats Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and being able to block it on Wednesday, take photos and submit to The Loopy Ewe by the 26th . . with a few days to spare.
This one is going to show the real importance of blocking because it’s going to make such a huge difference. I’m really excited to get it done.

I looked at the finished shawl picture, and immediately put it in my ravelry queue, it is very pretty. I’m hoping to finish my Ivy Over the Door shawl before Thursday, when the next Shawl Society pattern is released. I have about 25 more rows of 112 stitches, so close to done, this shawl is 545 rows long.

Just gets more beautiful with every picture Judy.

That is going to be lovely. I just finished binding off the 780 or so stitches on my July project. What a slog but I’m anxious to get mine blocking since the lace on it will really transform.
