Still working on Jurata. It’s going to be beautiful!
I think it was Monday night that I was knitting along, thinking I was picking up a stitch along the edge every row so that would be 18 stitches picked up per each 18 row border repeat. It dawned on me . . I’m only picking up one stitch every other row so I’m picking up 9 stitches every border repeat. I had 26 more border repeats to go. I thought I had half that many. That means I need to be doing at least three repeats per day in order to get it blocked and photographed by the end of the month. That’s basically 3 – 4 hours per day knitting on this one project. Tuesday evening . . I knitted ONE repeat, leaving me with 25 more to go. Not good.
Yesterday I got five repeats done. 20 left to go. I was surprised I was able to get so many done. My shoulder held up and wasn’t hurting. I spent quite a bit of time on hold on the phone so that was knitting time and I did five loads of laundry so I felt like I was accomplishing some of my responsibilities while knitting.
Hoping to get at least four repeats done today . . five would be fantastic!

I’m cheering you on! It’s about all I can do, as a non-knitter. =)
