Remember when Wednesday was Hump Day? I guess when you’re not working . . you don’t even have Hump Day any more.
Today has been busy. It started out with getting an AT&T bill. It was our first bill with Vince being on my account and the bill was higher than he thought it should be so he had me call. Wait a minute, dude! You have the problem with the bill . . YOU call! Nope .. I called. It was what I expected . . we interrupted the cycle of my billing so we had a whole month and a partial month on there. The funny thing about the bill is that Vince is always squawking at me about my minutes and data. Guess who used twice as many minutes as I did and who used more data than I did! Yep — Vince! I beat him by just a bit on the texts,
Then I had the email from Carrier that I needed to contact them about the wifi for the air conditioner. That lasted over two hours and definitely changed my opinion of the air conditioner manufacturer. I had already called the installer to tell them it wasn’t working when Vince got the thermostat/indoor unit to communicate with the outdoor unit and we had air again so I called the guy in Brady back to tell them not to come.
I can’t remember if I told you but I got Addie a Kid’s Fire during Amazon Prime Days. I started trying to get it all set up and realized . . Granny’s days of setting up electronic devices may be over. I’m still not sure I have it right.
I smoked the salmon, steamed broccoli and made a salad. That was our only meal besides breakfast. That’s one thing we do now — late breakfast and one meal.
OK . . two days til the weekend. As usual, no big plans for the weekend.

Have you checked with Vince about his weekend plans? ?
Judy Laquidara says
He says he has none but you know how that goes. Right now, it’s really too hot to go anywhere.

So many adjustments to make when you first retire! I hope you have a lot of peaceful time this weekend!

When you’re retired not only is there no Hump Day, but every day feels like a weekend. Sometimes I have to check the date & calendar on my computer to know what day of the week it is. LOL It’s a good thing Vince got the AC going again. It would be pretty toasty without it. I guess you could hang out in the sewing room if Boots would let you.

I keep a calendar on my kitchen island and make daily notes of what we did, or went or had for dinner. Or I would be more confused. And Linda’s comment was spot on. If Boots would let you hang out with him. Funny but true.

My husband retired 9 yrs ago the age of 50. Definite adjustment around here, even now. But he has said since he retired that there are only 3 days in a week-yesterday, today and tomorrow!

I love this reply. Will have to borrow it!!!

So, if wifi goes out, does outside still talk to inside air conditioner? Does air go out? My car is always sending me email. Too much communicating for me.
