This is another of those PG-13 stories but I had to share it.
Yesterday Addie was complaining that she couldn’t do a cartwheel. Nicole told her “YOU CAN! You just need to practice.” Nicole told her . . if you learn to do a cartwheel, we’ll buy you a trampoline. Nicole said “The minute I said that, I knew I shouldn’t have said it!”
So, Addie went to practicing and with each attempt, she got better. She did a really good one and she looked at Chad and said “DAD! You weren’t watching me!” He told her he was . . he saw her! Apparently Nicole was making all kinds of crazy faces, knowing she was going to have to buy a trampoline.
Chad said “Addie, I was watching you but I was also watching mommy’s reactions!”
Addie pointed to her chest and said “Are these my reactions?”
I told Chad . . Addie sees what catches your attention! You’d better stop looking at Nicole’s “reactions”!
