It won’t be long before he’s had enough of me and goes off to find a peaceful place to curl up in and sleep but for now, he’s either on the cutting table or between me and the sewing machine.
You havent blogged about Cat for a while. Did something happen to him?

I’ll bet Boots is very happy you’re spending more time in the sewing room, even if he does get tired of the togetherness sometimes. That’s just the way cats are. My two are in the house, but sleeping in the basement. Their routine is to have breakfast, go outside for a while, when it gets too hot out they come back in, get petted a bit and head downstairs. About five or so they come upstairs and start reminding us it’s almost time to eat again. Once they get their supper they usually want to go back outside. Sometimes they come in for the night sometimes not. Cats have their routines just like we do and just don’t always want a lot of contact with people. And sometimes they’re just weird! LOL Gotta love ’em!

Just love it when the cats (seems like all of them do it) HAVE to get right where you are when you’re sewing, LOL.

Seeing your Singer has me excited about my move. I’m buying a house (though a foreclosure and I’ll be busy for months and months fixing it up. Maybe years and years) but I get a sewing room again even if it is just 6’x8′. My old singer in its original cabinet can be more than just a nightstand. I do have my brother one I can sew on but I already ruined one of those by making a purse and sewing thru too many layers on it. That and your blog had me searching for a 401A and I found one locally for around $75. It might have been less than that but been too long to recall.
