It’s all done, final checkup and bill paid. I’m not ready to sing the praises of a mini-split quite yet but I’m impressed. I liked the first one for a couple of years so we’ll see what I think of this one in a few years. For now, it’s doing an amazing job of cooling this room and that makes me happy.
The unit is bigger and it takes up way more room on the wall but it doesn’t matter. There was nothing else on that wall. It will definitely cool this room!
The other unit had this same feature but I never knew what it meant. It has an “I Feel” button and if that is on, then the remote is like a thermostat. If I set it to 77° and have the “I Feel” button on, then wherever that thermostat is . . that’s where the unit will cool to 77°. The installer put a little remote holder over by my sewing machines.
Not totally but somewhat, like a window unit, if you’re sitting in front of it, you’re going to freeze. My computer is in front of it but when I walk outside, I can come in, sit in my computer chair and cool off very quickly.
After about 6 weeks of sometimes working/sometimes not working, it’s good to have the old unit out (though not gone because Vince kept it . . of course!) and a new one installed.

So glad you are cool again. Just think we only have 2 more months of Summer and then Fall. Maybe by December we will be wearing long sleeves and long pants instead of shedding everything we can get by with! LOL There really isn’t a limit to how much you can put on but there is a limit to how much you can take off and not get arrested!!!!

I’m glad problems were resolved. That I feel button sounds interesting. And is Boots talking to you yet?
