My cat lives a deprived life. He’s never seen a shirt with buttons. I always have on a T-shirt. Even on the few days I get dressed decent, as soon as I get home, I put on a T-shirt. Yesterday I was cleaning around the oil pump on the freeze dryer and I grabbed one of Vince’s old shirts and put it on over my T-shirt because I can never get grease out of T-shirts. After I was done, I sat down at the computer. Boots kept looking at my shirt and I could tell something was VERY interesting.
Then he pounced over and began chewing on the button. I finally had to take that shirt off because he was determined to chew on those buttons. The other day I had on a T-shirt that had some sparkly stuff and Boots kept trying to catch the sparkles. Who would have thought about how a cat would react to buttons when he’s never seen them?

Cats reaction to things can be funny! Oil stains on tee shirts can be removed with Dawn dish soap, scrubbed in with an old toothbrush. before laundering.

Does it work if you’ve already put the shirt in the dryer?

Here is the best thing to get oil/really anything out of clothing. Get you these 3 things( liquid shout, liquid Dawn dishwashing liquid and some Murphys Oil soap) I mix about 1/2 murphys oil soap with 1/4 of the other two. Then shake each time I use. Put on grease or any kind of spots. Donot dry in dryer till you make sure spot is out. But generally it only take one washing with this mixture. My daughter calls it Meme’s miracle spot remover. Give it try works for me.

I’ve always used Dial soap on grease stains…it even works on clothes that have gone through the dryer! I always keep a bar on hand.

How helpful this is! I have a French terry top that I thought I was going to have to get crafty with because of a stain. I will try these remedies!
I had a cat who would get a special glint in her eye…if I was wearing something with a little bow. It doesn’t matter how many times she saw them; they must come off! That’s funny that Boots got a new “toy.”
