Since our little ice cream maker holds about half a recipe of ice cream, I figured half a can of Eagle Brand milk in my fridge and half a bottle of strawberry soda wasn’t going to last so I made the rest of the ice cream tonight.
I can’t remember if I posted this recipe the other day on here. I know I posted it on Facebook. I guess it’s better to risk posting it twice than to not post it all, right.
Every time I type “ingredients”, I think of Addie. She calls a shopping list .. the ingredients list.
All you need to make this yummy ice cream is a 2 liter bottle of red soda. I usually buy Big Red but Fanta works just fine, one can of sweetened condensed milk, and one tub of strawberries (the sliced kind with sugar), thawed.
For my little freezer, I only poured in half the soda, half the can of milk and half the strawberries because I didn’t want to the soda to lose all the fizz. I think I did post this recipe. A reader asked about the fizz. Oh well . . no extra charge for getting it twice! 🙂 And, remember, I’m taking meds!

I love you posts and am always in awe of your energy. Even when injured or ill. I too would like the name of the ice cream maker. I searched old posts but I only skimmed the old posts that came up so I must have missed it. Cheers!
