Reading works for me late in the evening but during the day, I need to be doing something. Sitting without my hands working on something is the hardest thing for me to do.
So . . EQ8 to the rescue. I don’t have to move my fingers much so . . we’ll see how my arm feels after a while of playing with EQ. The only problem is . . playing with a quilt design makes me want to go sew.
Here’s what I came up with today.
The designs evolve, the more I play with them.
There are probably 20 or more drawings in the sketchbook, each with a little tweak here and there. This is probably where I’ll stop with this one.
Will I ever make it? Who knows!

I like the first one a whole lot, and the others are also nice. I’m not a huge fan of pink or yellow, but I can see this in other color combinations. I like the fewer 9-patches and squares in the outside round of the center that is the third design. Sounds like a great arm-saver to me!

I like it! I like the last two about the same except the pink. for me I would use something besides pink because our house has more boys than girl. Really like the design. It has a clean line to it.

Good way of decreasing the arm use! Can you get some PT/exercises to work on to avoid future arm injury? I got a book for working on shoulder strength when I messed up my shoulder. Hmm, I should probably start working on those again!
On another topic – I got my bug trap from Amazon (see a previous post). It doesn’t work, electrically speaking. But, I called up the manufacturer in WI to ask for advice and they are just going to send another one. They don’t want the old one back, so I guess I have some spare parts, like the light bulb and an extra basket. Bummer, I just have to wait till next week.to try out the new one. But, if something goes wrong with yours, try giving the manufacturer a call….
