After complaining about no ripe figs, I walked by the big fig tree last night and did a double take!
One ripe fig. One! 10 million green figs with no hint of getting ripe and ONE ripe one. Weird . . but tasty.
I walked all around that tree, stooping and bending and looking and not another ripe fig to be found. Hopefully this means there will be more ripe ones very soon. I can’t wait to try to freeze dry them.

Well like you I’ve got loads of green ones. I just now started getting ripe ones here. I got 4 day before yesterday.I don’t understand by glad they are finally ripening
How is the rm today by the way. Hope it is better today. After the age of forty our bodies are like old well loved teddy bears.” patch, patch and patch some more”

MMMM – dried figs!! I bought some crackers recently that have dried figs and thyme in them. Every time I open a box, Hubby eats the rest. I need better hiding places!

You will probably get hundreds in one day now. =) If it was good, that’s a harbinger of better things to come.

They will probably all get ripe at the same time!
