The red corn is ready to be cut. I had hoped to leave it on the stalk to dry but ants, worms and grasshoppers have found it.
I grabbed these few ears yesterday when I was in the garden but I had on flip flops and didn’t want to have my exposed toes up under all that growth. I’ll get back out there today with my boots on and have Vince out there with me just in case any wild critters sneak up on me.
I will dry it and grind it for grits.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen red corn. Blue, yellow and white, but not read! Fun!
