Nicole shared some pictures of their camping trip so I thought you might want to see them too!
Addie doesn’t travel light! I’ve never seen George’s buddies. Doesn’t she look happy to be there?
That girl is in her element when she’s out enjoying nature.
She’s so excited about catching a crawfish.
You can bet she wanted her parents to cook it and knowing them, they probably did.
They went through a cave. Looks like Addie and Chad are last in line with Nicole farther back taking pictures.
Oh, the stories she’ll be telling about this camping trip. I’m so glad Chad and Nicole do all this with her.

What precious memories Judy! Addie looks so happy! What great parents they are! Addie is learning so much by being outdoors! Love that girl!

She is so fortunate to have parents like Chad and Nicole! What a fun life she has…she can be a girly girl at home and an adventurer girl in the wilderness…the best of both worlds!

The two four-year-old grandkids and their parents are in Yellowstone through Wednesday and having a ball from what I see in the pictures. The kids were so excited to see a mama griz and three cubs before they even got into the park proper. They love the mountains, animals and hiking. I’m sure we’ll be hearing all about it for quite some time!
Rebecca in SoCal says
I had to laugh at the first picture of Addie in her sheer skirt, camping! I have to agree with the others…Chad and Nicole are giving that girl one great childhood. It must fill your heart so full!

Addie is so photogenic and 99.9% of the time she has that beautiful smile – I would have said 100% but I seem to remember a picture way back when that she wasn’t too happy :-).

That is so much fun! It made me wish I were out there with them. That is one tiny crawfish – but I’m comparing to what grows in the irrigation canals in Phoenix. Are there different varieties?

It is so good to show a child all the things around them. There are so many people who don’t. There are so many parents who don’t think to do this. There are so many things to do now. When she comes here, she needs to go to the train museum and do it on Saturday so she can ride the mini train! It is a wonderful place to take kids! Sometimes the museums are free. Camping is good too. It is a good time to bond with your kids. So glad to see her parents are doing this!
