There wasn’t as much sewing as I had hoped. This morning the freeze dryer was dripping a bit so we stopped it, took everything out, defrosted it, adjusted the door and started it again. That was the end of the morning. This afternoon I sewed a bit, cooked a bit, took a long nap and then I sewed.
It’s been a long time since I was in the sewing room til dark. I love it in there at dark . . the TV isn’t ok. Heck, the TV is never on. I don’t think it’s hooked up to anything . . maybe not even electricity!
I have all the plain squares cut, all the sashing cut. There are a few more components to make and I’m thinking by Sunday or Monday, I may be able to start building blocks.

Judy, It was quilting that brought me to your blog originally. I’m glad that you’re sewing again. I like reading about the food and knitting and garden and food, and now I will look forward to reading about your quilting progress again!

Judy, I too came to your blog because of you quilting. Of course I really do feel like a peeping Tom to yours and Vince’s life. I have learned a lot over the years of reading your blog. I have tried several of your recipes and still think you should write a cook book. Or gather all your recipes and have Vince write the book. Any way I am glad that you are quilting again. But I do enjoy the other topics too.

You aren’t wasting any time getting this going. I liked seeing your box and how you organize things. This helps me see how you did so many hour-a-day projects. It’s really your way of organizing things! Though, yes, I know you are spending more than an hour a day doing this one. =)

I came because I was learning to quilt. I stayed because, after all, it’s you! 🙂
