Mover over, Boop! I have a friend whose name on one of the quilt lists was Boop. Back when I was quilting and entering my quilts in shows, they had to have names. I have no creativity when it comes to names. Mine would be something like “Green & Pink Quilt”. She came up with the coolest names. I’ve been thinking . . if I get back into quilting, I can probably come up with names for my own quilts. This morning I showed my latest creation to Vince and he said “Mustard & Ketchup. That’s a great name for this quilt.” No . . I don’t think so but I’m betting if would become Mustard & Ketchup if I actually used these colors.
The corner stars hanging out, detached from everything else, was kinda bothering me so I did a little revision to those and changed the ketchup to pink and changed what had been pink to a peachy color. Addie’s favorite colors seem to be pink and orange . . together.
I like this one. I think I’ll head over to the sewing room and see what fabrics I can come up with.

Can’t wait to see it. Glad you are getting your quilting mojo back. Variety is the spice of life.

I’m really excited that you are even thinking of quilting again and I can’t wait to see what fabrics you pull!

I’m glad your thinking of quilting again. I’m a quilter, not a knitter or foodie. I have one of your books too. Your blog is so fun to read, I’ve kept reading it even after you quit quilting. I hope you can find some joy again in quilting.

Thanks! We’ll see what happens.

Pink and peach and yellow – just looks so summery with those colors – reminds me of sherbert.
Judy Laquidara says
Why did you have to say sherbert? Now I want some!
Donna Minter says
Love it. I’m a quilter. I like name Vince came up with. Too cute! I’ve tried to stop following your blog because I don’t knit, but then I would miss out on the conversations between you and Vince.
Judy Laquidara says
You should be here in real life and hear them all! 🙂
Donna says
The borders really made a difference. WOW
Judy Laquidara says
Don’t they? I never judge a quilt til I have added multiple borders.

I was going to object to “mustard and ketchup” because of the pink in the original version. The new version (especially in this season) makes me think of fruit salad!
Dottie says
Raspberry Sherbert and Peach Sorbet 🙂
Nelle Coursey says
She will love it!!

Perfect for Addie! Isn’t it funny the difference just a few squares can make in a design? That looks like Raspberry Peach Lemonade to me!
