My one litchi tomato plant is producing a nice little crop.
Every other day I pick a handful of these. I munch on them. Vince will eat a few but he said they taste “weird”. They’re different but they’re juicy and refreshing.
You may remember that this plant has lots of thorns.
Once the fruit is ripe, the cap kinda curls back and I can pick the fruit without getting stuck by the thorns . . unless . . the wind is blowing. Yesterday, the wind was blowing and no matter how careful I tried to be, I got stuck a dozen times!
I guess there’s a price to pay for everything!

Have you tried using a pair of kitchen tongs?

They look delicious and wonderfully summery. I have about half a dozen jelly beans growing about 1/4 inch long! Twelve plants and I have flowers and fruit on one. I don’t even know if it’s yellow or red, but I’m excited for those little ones!
