The elderberries are doing amazingly well.
I’m so happy with how well they’re doing. In February, these plans arrived as bare root short little sticks with no leaves and they have just taken off like crazy.
Out of 14 bushes, I think only 3 don’t have at least two clusters of berries.
I know . . a whole lot can happen before harvest tie but I’m optimistic.

put some netting over them so the birds don’t have a fun eating the berries

I had elderberries at the last place I lived, netting is a must…those pesky birds will have the berries before you even know they’re ripe.
