Nicole and Chad had gone to Walmart a couple of nights ago and Addie stayed with us. They bought her an off brand water sliding toy and surprised her with it. She’s had one the last few summers and it tore least summer.
Addie loved it, of course!
It wasn’t long before Addie talked Mommy into trying it.
Addie ran and slid right behind Nicole so Nicole had to tumble off of it at the end to get out of Addie’s way.
It wasn’t long before they had a bug mud hole there and it looked more like mud wrestling than water sliding.
I had gone back in the house and Addie came running to the door and she was huffing and puffing. She said “Granny! Daddy said he would slide if you’d go get us snow cones!” Oh, yes! Chad thought I wouldn’t do it but I said “Yep, I will do it but you’re sliding first!” He did it several times but threatened me that I’d never get to see Addie again (joking) if he took pictures of him doing it . . so I didn’t.
He did it and then we went and got snow cones.
Addie tried her best to get Granny and Grumps on the slide but that didn’t and probably never will happen.

What a wonderful memory that would have made if you had just done it once. There’s always tomorrow! I know you can do it!

How cute! She has good parents to do this with her. You are good grandparents!

What fun for those that played on the water slide! Truly adventuresome & brave! I know I wouldn’t try it because this grandma would worry about breaking something ~ like an arm or a leg!

Definitely a sport for the younger crowd, I think. You can’t just crawl on to them. LOL
