These are pictures from last night. The two main projects I’m working on are Winterfell Cardigan and Liquid Gold.
You’ve already seen some progress on Liquid Gold but I made a bit more progress yesterday.
Thank you all for your thoughts on going down to a smaller needle size. I’m so glad I did that.
Yesterday I cast on the Winterfell Cardigan. These late night pictures don’t show the colors very well but I love the brown with just a little purple.
Here’s a bit of a closeup of the slipped stitches.
The yarn is Madelinetosh Tosh Sport. This is a weight I love for cardigans and I’m really enjoying this knit. It’s going to be fairly easy and not require a lot of attention. Not much attention! That seems to be working bet for me these days.

Great choice of yarn and it is going to be fantastic!

Love seeing how neck-down sweaters get going (since I’ve only made all those pieces that have to be sewn together.) All that texture is just slip stitches, seems do-able. I did like the appearance of this sweater, may have to consider moving on from shawls. Having the recommendation of yarn is great too, saves me that complete start from scratch status. Besides I have already used Madelinetosh yarns quite a bit. Thanks for the update. Love the cables in the Liquid Gold as well.

I like the yarn you decided on for the real Liquid Gold – that is very pretty, so far. The brown one is going to be pretty, too. Your MadMay is off to a great start!
