We’ve had a critter, probably multiple critters, coming under the carport at night and getting into things. One night, it turned over my box of smoking wood. It’s actually a plastic tub with a lid and it knocked the tub around enough that the lid came off. Nothing they wanted in there but it probably had a bit of drippings on it from the smoker and the critter thought there might be food in there. I had a roll of aluminum foil for the smoker on a shelf and the critter knocked it off the shelf, dug around in the foil. I tossed all that! One night it knocked Cat’s food bowl completely off where we keep it and it’s a fairly heavy bowl.
I had to make another trip to the mailbox to retrieve yarn and the trail cam is still mounted to the RTV so I said . . I’m removing the evidence! Here’s my trip to the mailbox.
This is a cat we haven’t seen before. I wonder how many cats we’re feeding. We don’t usually leave food out at night but sometimes it happens.
The wildest and craziest critter of all . .
But, as of this minute, there is no incriminating mailbox run pictures on the camera! 🙂

We have a racoon who comes in via the kitty door on our screened in cover patio. He gets on our sunflower seed. He can pry the lid of the 5 gallon bucket and will sit and eat his fill. I’ve got photos of him doing it. He isn’t scared of us one bit. We have to hit him with something to get him gone. Weighs about 20+ pounds now. We have started to bring in seed. So it is most likely a racoon doing the damage at your house. They are strong little buggers and get into everything. This one now opens cabinet doors on back porch to see what is in cabinets too.
